Supporting a membership network to scale in reach and impact

Over three years I worked with the Chair of the UK Innovation Districts Group (UK IDG) to evolve this community of practice into a thriving membership organisation.

UK IDG is a network of places where the innovation economy, entrepreneurship and urban regeneration investments intersect to foster good growth. Whilst employed by Connected Places Catapult, I worked with the chair and community manager to steer this group towards becoming an ambitious and inclusive membership organisation. This included co-developing new propositions for the public and private sector, a diversification which doubled revenues and amplified the group’s impact.
